Every Combekk pan starts long before it reaches your kitchen. We think carefully about every step, from the raw materials to the final product. Wherever we can, we combine European craftsmanship with carefully selected partners abroad, and use recycled materials. The result: cookware you’ll love to use every day.
Some of our products don’t have far to travel. Our recycled paper cutting boards are made in the Netherlands, and The Original Dutch ovens and the wooden chopping block in Poland. That means short lines of communication, and we can easily drop by to see how things are going.
Not everything can be made around the corner. For some of our products, we work with carefully selected suppliers abroad, including partners in China. Some of them generate part of their energy from solar and wind power.
Finding the right partner takes time. We don’t just look at price, but at quality, craftsmanship and the way they work. That’s why we visit our partners regularly, walk through their workshops and talk to the people who actually make our products. Together, we make agreements on renewable energy and on separating and reusing production waste.
And we’re never quite done. With every new product and every visit, we look at what we can do better, step by step.
The best pan is the one you reach for every day. That’s why we design Combekk pans to handle daily cooking with ease, from a quick weekday omelette to a slow Sunday stew. We choose our materials carefully, and every design is tested by professional chefs before it reaches your kitchen.
A little care goes a long way. On our Usage and maintenance page, you’ll find simple tips to keep your pan in top shape. And if anything does go wrong, all our products are covered by the statutory guarantee. On top of that, The Original Dutch ovens come with a 40-year guarantee.
Old railway tracks, leftover aluminium, used stainless steel: materials that already had a life before they came to us. Many of our products are partly made from recycled cast iron, aluminium, stainless steel and bakelite, giving these materials a second life in your kitchen.
And because we want you to know exactly what you’re cooking with, all our non-stick coatings are PFAS-free, and every product page shows which materials and coatings we use.
